The YoungLives Mentor Training now includes two handbooks: one for the coordinator, and one for potential mentors.

The Mentor Training Guide contains all of the content needed for an initial mentor training session. It includes an introduction to Young Life history and philosophy, the 5 C's and how we customize them for a teen mom audience, setting boundaries in relationships, having proper motivations/expectations in ministry, helping teen moms grow, staying healthy in ministry, and developing and maintaining deep relationships.

The Coordinator's Guide includes all of the content needed for an initial mentor training session PLUS lots of extra material, including: best practices for recruiting, training, and retaining new mentors, a sample outline for the initial mentor training session, helpful tips, links, and question prompts to use during the training, and sample mentor recruitment forms.
